SLD Fundraising Auction on eBay

Scottish Language Dictionaries face an uncertain future as a result of SAC funding cuts. We hope that this unusual eBay auction of items donated by stars of stage and screen will raise both our funds and our profile. You can browse all the items we have up for auction in the list below – bidding is now open and we're sure you'll find something irresistible!

Siobhan Redmond in Mary StuartSiobhan Redmond’s shoes (signed), worn in the part of Elizabeth I in David Harrower’s version of Schiller’s Mary Stuart. There is also a letter from Siobhan explaining why these shoes were chosen and a postcard of a portrait of Elizabeth I on which Siobhan’s costume was based. There is even a photograph of Siobhan for comparison. This item includes a copy of the play and a programme of the co-production by the National Theatre of Scotland, The Citizens Theatre and the Royal Lyceum Theatre. Bid On This Item!
